Fine Art Photography

One of the most important areas of my work is my fine art photography, which I update regularly to keep the collection fresh and engaging.

I have a particular passion for infrared photography — both colour and monochrome. Infrared photography fascinates me because it allows the camera to see beyond the visible spectrum. Using filters of different wavelengths, specific aspects of the landscape or scene are revealed. There is no digital manipulation involved; the images appear exactly as they come straight out of the camera.

The effect is often magical — ghostly white foliage that seems “lit from within,” or landscapes that take on a dreamlike quality. Alongside infrared, I also work with ultraviolet photography. Like infrared, it reveals what the human eye cannot normally see, offering what I like to call a kind of “meta vision” — an object’s ability to reflect its own essence. Ultraviolet photography, especially with flowers and natural textures, can produce profound and almost mystical results.
